Opening Day Regatta

Rock Hall Yacht Club started their season on Saturday with RHYC sailor Mitch Grieb winning the Opening Day regatta that was plagued by a dying breeze. The 23-boat fleet sailed two races in a decent wind while the wind gave out entirely for the 3rd race. Light-air maven Faye Flam took second place and first female followed by Peter Gates in third place. Several District 10 sailors from New Jersey and Pennsylvania were also in attendance. Thanks again to PRO Dyer Harris and all of the folks at RHYC who put on a good regatta in less than ideal wind. – Jon Deutsch
