North American Albacore Championship
           
The wind will certainly cooperate for the races both days this weekend and
it may be hazardous for short intervals Saturday. Expect moderate to 
rough wave conditions on Saturday subsiding a bit Sunday. There is a 
chance of rain both days, mainly in the afternoon. Any rain will be brief.
The chance of lightning is low.      
           
           Saturday    
           
Northwest to west winds 14-18 knots morning into early afternoon with 
occasional intervals of 18-22 knots. Peak gust 26 knots. Later in the 
afternoon winds west to southwest 12-16 knots with an occasional 
higher gusts. Wave heights 1-3 feet. Skies ranging from partly sunny
to cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain, especially in the afternoon.
Temperatures rising from 56 at the start to near 70 at the end of racing.
           
             Sunday    
           
Winds west to southwest at 10-14 knots increasing at times to 14-18.
Peak gust 20 knots. Winds may shift to northwest at lesser or the 
about the same speeds toward the end of racing. Wave heights about
1 foot to near 2 feet on occasion. Skies partly to mostly cloudy with a
30 percent chance of rain. Temperatures rising from 54 to 68.
